The Reversie - TORMENT

Ok, this most hated of bicycles was inspired by some I have seen around Europe. Reverse steering, so left goes right, right goes left. It is utterly ruthless on your brain, as you have to disassociate the steering with balance. I built the thing as a joke, and also to practice some precision brazing. The other challenge was getting an effective brake on the front, as the cog mechanism was in the way of the original brake cable path.

It took me hours to learn to ride the thing, but provided endless entertainment humbling ego inflated males (and females). I saw no reason to paint this one, as it inevitably ended up in the dirt time and time again!
