Locals washing in Calcutta.

The Hooghly river in Calcutta. In my opinion it was pretty nasty, but the locals didn't seem to mind it.
I met some Spanish guy, and we wandered through some military school, and into a military base by mistake. I managed to take this beautiful pic before we were escorted out.
On a train somewhere in India, we stopped at some little place, and there were hundreds of monkeys, which apparently had been trained to jump up onto the train, reach in an grab whatever they could. Unfortunately the camera case kinda got in the way.
So this is Darjeeling, which is famous for tea, and also a place where the Brits would stay to escape the heat of the North Indian plain. Quite an interesting place, and with some unbelievable views around.

The almighty Kanchenjunga mountain range. Nepal and Sikkim lie beyond here.
This amazing building near Darjeeling had the most incredible roof. What this place was about is beyond me. Nice location though.
Up on Tiger Hill these ladies serve hot tea and coffee every morning to the people that come up at the crack of dawn. Note how they look more Nepalese than Indian.
